We finished staining the floor last night with Minwax Provincial oil stain. We opted for darker rustic color after a diplomatic vote between this and whitewash. I was leaning toward whitewash, but over the pine plank , it looked sort of yellow. Now we need to wait for it to finish drying and then polyurithane!

We finished the flooring in the kitchen and in our son's room:

And have almost finished painting the master bedroom

The workers have begun the new addition - enclosing the garage and making one of the 2-car bays into living space! Here is where the other salvaged bow window is! This will create - for now - one large room, which we may later divide.

So we finished the flooring in the living area, dining, area, and kitchen, and picked up the new marble vanity top and installed it. The left side shelving area by the fireplace is now painted black and the right will be removed for a door to the new room(s).

I'm really still on the fence about the purple...
