I tried this product that is supposed to whiten grout. It comes in a small bottle for about $10 (I forgot the name but I bought it at Lowes in the tile area). This is how the tile looked before I used the product:
So the product says to put it on with a toothbrush in the grout lines, but as you can see these tiles are very small so I just put it all over the whole floor:
It looks like thick paint or thin caulk. The directions say to put it on and let it sit for 30-60 minutes then mist it with water, then scrub it off. That was such hard work!!! But I think the result looks pretty good. There are a few areas that need to be done again but overall I am happy - as long as it lasts! I think I may need to seal it.
you can see little piles of the grout cleaner here and there.
Also, the new wallpaper! (Trim will be installed at ceiling and baseboards and around doors and windows).
geometric patterns are difficult when walls are not completely level.
Also, our mason completed the brickwork on the addition!
I will be painting the house white soon! Keep watching!
