More painting, whitewashed deck, & kitchen bar

We stained the deck white:

Still building the kitchen - looks like the beginnings of a wonderful place to cook!!!

and finally got the side of the house painted!

First, here is the newly landscaped wall and yard with less scrub:

We have been working on the kitchen and have purchased a couple of very interesting antiques~ one is an old store counter from Cape Cod - ironically we bought it on our anniversary and we happened to have our honeymoon in Cape Cod! The other is a wooden cabinet with file drawers. We have also built the peninsula to hold the oven.

We have been working on painting the exterior trim:

And we got new porch lights!
