We have begun working on installing the tongue and groove wood plank flooring.

We have also wallpapered the backs of two of the entry way book shelves. The bottoms have doors which will be replaced soon.

the window is in!

We've made a hole in the house! This is where one of the vintage reclaimed recycled dumpster-salvaged bow windows will go: Inside view is shows how big it will be. The other photo is the hole in progress while the workers wait for their saw to be repaired.

Working away

So far we have torn out all of the carpet and some of the wall between the kitchen and dining room so the river view can be seen from the kitchen. We have been painting the kitchen cabinets black and have brought bookcases into the entry way from the basement and have also painted them black. The woodwork will all be black. Everything. We have already bought some crown and trim and painted that. We also took out the bathroom counter and ordered one in white and grey marble. Tomorrow will be a new kitchen window!!!!!!
